I Don't Want to be a Big Brother is for boys experiencing issues with new siblings. I Didn't Hear You talks about protecting boys' own little worlds. All five stories came from author Le Fan's real experiences of raising two sons as a mother. While the books are certainly children's books, they could even be viewed as parent handbooks of sorts. The author has written their parents and other adults in little boys' eyes, and calls for parents and society to raise boys differently and understandingly so they can grow in positive, healthy ways.

As consumers rather than producers, how did their understandings of manufacturing processes and the material world change? Material goods and moving hands combines material culture and visual culture approaches to explore the different ways in which manufacturers and retailers presented production to consumers during the eighteenth century. It shows how new relationships with production processes encouraged consumers, retailers, designers, manufacturers and workers to develop conflicting understandings of production. Objects then were not just markers of fashion and taste, they acted as important conduits through which people living in Georgian Britain could examine and discuss their material world and the processes and knowledge that rendered it.

As a result, the She people were in shortage of food. Lan Tianfeng led people to the land owner's house to steal food. After being found out, Lan Tianfeng stepped forward to protect others and was imprisoned on March 3rd. There was no food in the prison for him. Later, some She people used black rice leaves to cook rice. The jailers did not dare to eat the black rice and passed the rice to Tianfeng. Over time, Lan Tianfeng slowly recovered. Three years later, again on March 3rd, Lan Tianfeng was rescued. In order for future generations to commemorate the feat of Lan Tianfeng and remember how hard to have rice, the Black Rice Festival is celebrated every year.
