        by Melanie Busse

We probably all know the situation, someone hurls nasty insults at you, and you feel dumb and powerless. Maybe you get annoyed by someone and do not see what you can do about it? In such a situation, we often feel that we are paralysed and unable to come up with an excellent quick-witted answer. You can change this! Just as you learn a new language, you can also learn to react quick-witted. Thunder-Grump is a game that helps you to learn and practice quick-wittedness. To escape the threat of your inner Thunder-grump, “Mr Coolman”,” Praiseman”, “The Jester« and many other good ideas will help you! And if you expose the Thundergrump at the right moment, it will even help you win. Aim of the game Learn to react in a disarming way. Using examples of everyday situations, Thundergrump provides you with numerous quick-witted strategies that players can rehearse in a safe environment. In this game, each strategy has its dedicated character, which is represented both figuratively and linguistically, with many examples. At the same time, approaches and ideas for new strategies can be trained and further developed. And since each player's success depends on how believable these strategies are used, players are automatically motivated to try out, review, and train. »Thundergrump« is recommended for kids and adolescents aged 8 and above. Number of players You can play in pairs or a group with up to 6 players. Duration A round can take any time from 5 minutes.
