When reading Lin Xi's essays and looking at her paintings, I always stop to think and feel, using my brains and heart, and that brings me a soft feeling as if seeing a thriving and lushy city from ancient times slowly flowing towards me, along the river of time.

Lin Xi's art works reflect how she thinks of the various aspects of life. Taking advantage of ink painting, Lin indulges herself in depicting the ordinary but precious moments in life. Intelligent and beautiful, Lin is a born painter with shining talent. In her freehand brush works, the laughter and tears of all works of life can be found, which were all selected from everyone’s daily life and can raise empathy from both literati and the masses.
For painter Lin Xi, "Being a child " is not only at the core of retaining our innocence, but also a sharp tool for fighting against an adulthood that inevitably falls into sophistication.
